I run a local creative writers group in our village of St Breward. Made up of a few staunch people who love to write and to read the written word.

We meet each week on a Tuesday evening, riotously compare our work, and write short exercises. Drinking plenty of tea and coffee and nibbling on the inevitable biscuit.

Some very good ideas seem to evolve from this gathering, and with lots of encouragement I think I have helped them to be more aware of how to put things down. We have guest speakers from time to time, and recently had a visit from John Neale, a writer of historical and informative books on local areas. Although I believe he has had some other stories published in magazines. It was an inspiring and interesting talk that he gave with oodles of information and specimens of his work. Thank you John.

There are some really talented people in Cornwall.
